Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, and the GMC twins share architecture but split into very different install paths. Light-duty 1500 has tight engine bay; HD twins have frame space and a 220 A alternator option. Off-road Z71 / Trail Boss trims add lift-and-skid-plate clearance variables.
